Lu Hai Kong Jian won the Top 100 Most Innovative Enterprises of the Year award from Taber Network

On May 15, 2024, the 13th Global Geographic Information Developers Conference of WGDC was grandly opened in Beijing. Academician Li Deren, Chief Scientist of Lu Hai Kong Jian, was invited to attend and deliver a special speech titled `Beidou Empowers the Internet of Things, Helps the Development of New Quality Productivity`. The conference unveiled the Innovation Awards 2024 Innovation Ranking, and Lu Hai Kong Jian was awarded the TOP100 Most Innovative Enterprise of the Year award.

The theme of this conference is `Redefining the Value of Data`. The Innovation Awards Annual Innovation Ranking was initiated by the well-known technology media and industry think tank platform Taber. After twelve years of development and accumulation, it has become a comprehensive award with strong professional influence in the field of new technology and aerospace geographic information. Over 1000 enterprises participate each year, and is known as the `Science and Technology Innovation Vanguard Award``. Academician Li Deren, Chief Scientist of Lu Hai Kong Jian and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering, delivered a special invitation speech entitled `Beidou Empowers the Internet of Things and Helps the Development of New Qualitative Productivity`. Academician Li Deren stated that the current satellite information application is stuck in a `big business, small industry` situation, making it difficult to achieve marketization and internationalization. We will accelerate the innovation from PNT to PNTRC to achieve 0-1, achieve real-time intelligent popularization services for air and space information through integrated navigation and remote control, and create multiple trillion level industries for air and space information. From the Luojia series satellites to the Oriental Wisdom Eye constellation, we will build a global real-time monitoring network for China's software defined aerospace information, serving the sustainable development of China and the world.

The Oriental Wisdom Eye Constellation, operated by land and sea space construction, has currently launched two satellites into orbit, including one 0.5 resolution optical remote sensing satellite with the best domestic camera. It is planned to form a giant intelligent remote sensing constellation consisting of over 300 satellites by 2030, including high-resolution optical satellites better than 0.5 meters, radar satellites better than 1 meter, 5-meter hyperspectral satellites, and high-resolution wide width satellites better than 100 kilometers, achieving the ability to revisit any point in the world every 5 minutes. At present, there are two hyperspectral satellites under research, with dual satellites achieving seamless global coverage in 5 days. Innovative spectral bands have been designed with 17 visible light infrared spectral bands and 5 short wave infrared spectral bands. The 22 bands of hyperspectral satellites have better indicators than Landsat-8/9 and Setin-2A/2B, and can achieve remote sensing of 5 meters of visible light infrared, 20 meters of short wave infrared, and 20 meters of night light, reaching an international leading level.

The 2024 Top 100 Most Innovative Enterprises Award is divided into 10 tracks: surveying and mapping geographic information, low altitude economy, high-precision positioning, LiDAR, commercial aerospace, digital twins, remote sensing big data, cloud, AI and smart industry services, intelligent driving maps, and autonomous driving. Among them, the award-winning companies in the commercial aerospace track include Aotian Technology, Dongfang Space, Guodian High tech, Blue Arrow Aerospace, Lu Hai Kong Jian, Tianbing Technology, Micro Motion Space, Micro Nano Starry Sky, Interstellar Glory, Galaxy Space, and Zhongke Xiguang.
