Li Deren's method: pioneered the selection weight iteration method for deriving gross error localization from posterior variance estimation, solving a century old problem in surveying.

3S Integration and Application: Led the organization mechanism of mission oriented aerospace information resources for National Defense 973, proposed the concept and theoretical system of geospatial informatics, and promoted the integration and application of remote sensing, satellite navigation and positioning systems, and geographic information systems.

Earth observation brain: Advocate for commercial operation of high-resolution Earth observation, propose the concept of integrated real-time spatial information services for navigation and remote sensing, and Earth observation brain.
